NAPOWRIMO post number 8 (a little late due to computers hating me)
Today after nearly a month
we almost made contact
would I have survived
for ten months plus some more
you were my constant
and now it's like we're strangers
when I found your book I was
excited, I secretly hopped you would show
that I would be forced to see you
and we would be forced to look at each other
but you never came.
now the rain is pouring and I feel as through
we were chalk on a side walk,
ancient history when the drops touch the ground
