This is actually a post related to class. There were a few writing excersices from class Monday that I wanted to post here, and expand on, so prepare yourself, it's about to get all creative like and such :-)

-Beliefs
I believe in... sunshine, bare feet, crossing lines, pushing limits, best friends, ice cream, showers so hot they almost burn away a bad day, cold beer, strong drinks, standing up for yourself and your ideas, music, theater, musical theater!, knowing all the words to a recording inside and out, surprises, flip flops, diet coke, paper and pen.

- Writing is....

I believe that writing is mundane, ordinary like folding laundry or washing dishes, anyone can do it. GOOD writing however is art. It might not be physically beautiful, after all it's usually black and white line after line after line, but if you look within around and between those lines there's where the beauty is found.
